Genevieve has called Salt Spring Island her home since the age of four. Raised in a family of self-employed artists she always appreciated the quality and importance of hand made small batch products.

Saturdays in her childhood were spent playing in the local Saturday market and by 6 she had her first business selling cookies and lemonade. This branched out into greeting cards, jewelry, and a general flare for entrepreneurial endeavors.

In 2001, Genevieve began creating soaps, lotions and floral waters and yet another business was launched. The next few years she spent learning about aromatherapy and what consumers want in a quality pure product. Soap and lotion making still remained a hobby.

With the birth of her first child in 2007, Genevieve’s Entrepreneurial spirit was reborn and in an effort to feed her passion while being a stay at home mom, she purchased Purely Salt spring Products. Now 4 years later and with her second child in her arms, Genevieve’s entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.

With a new line of luxurious loofah soaps now on store shelves and her first ever large scale trade show, Epic Expo in Vancouver May 13, 14 and 15. She stands behind her product and so do the spas, resorts and fitness centers that use them.
